Our Local Dive Sites

The eastern coast of Bali is world-renowned for its incredible macro marine life, vibrant reefs, and iconic shipwrecks. Villa Kampung Kecil Beachfront gives our guests immediate, uncrowded access to spectacular underwater topography.

  • USAT Liberty Wreck (Tulamben): Bali’s most iconic dive site is a short drive away. This American cargo ship was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942, ran aground, and sank completely into the sea due to the earthquake of Mount Agung in 1963.
  • The Kubu Wreck (Boga Wreck): Located just moments from the villa, this purposefully sunk 50-meter Dutch cargo ship features a sunken Volkswagen Safari car.
  • Tulamben Drop Off & Coral Garden: Perfect for both divers and snorkelers, offering a vibrant shallow reef and a dramatic wall dive that plunges to 70 meters.
  • Seraya Secrets: A world-class “muck diving” site hiding a treasure trove of rare marine life in dark volcanic sand.
  • The Amed Pyramids: Artificial reef structures reclaimed by the ocean, often enjoyed as a gentle drift dive.
